Privacy Policy

Effective date: January 2025

Boca Beauty Salon & MD, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates www.bocabeautysalonmd.com (the “Site”). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the limited circumstances in which we share it. By using the Site or contacting us, you agree to the practices described here.

1Who this policy covers

This policy applies to information collected through our Site, our advertising on platforms such as Facebook and Instagram, online forms and appointment requests, and direct communications with us (phone, email, or messaging).

2Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Name, email address, and phone number when you submit a form, request information, or book an appointment.
  • Mailing or billing address and order or service details when you make a purchase or reserve a service.
  • Any message content you choose to send us.

Health and treatment information

Because we offer aesthetic and medical services, we may collect information related to your care — such as service history, skin or health details you provide, intake questionnaires, and consent forms. We treat this information as confidential, and it may also be protected under applicable healthcare privacy laws. We do not use medical or treatment information for advertising.

Information collected automatically

  • Device and browser type, IP address, and general location.
  • Pages viewed, links clicked, and how you arrived at the Site.
  • Cookie and pixel identifiers (see Section 3).

3Cookies and tracking technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember preferences, and measure how our advertising performs. This includes the Meta Pixel and Meta’s Conversions API, which help us understand whether visitors who saw our Facebook or Instagram ads took an action on our Site (such as submitting a form or booking a service), and let us show relevant ads to similar audiences.

You can control cookies through your browser settings and manage ad personalization in your Facebook ad preferences and optout.aboutads.info. Blocking cookies may affect how parts of the Site function.

4How we use your information

  • To respond to inquiries and provide the services you request.
  • To schedule appointments and process and fulfill orders.
  • To operate, maintain, and improve the Site.
  • To deliver, measure, and improve our advertising — including ads on Facebook and Instagram.
  • To send service or transactional messages, and marketing messages where you have opted in.
  • To comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.

5How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these limited situations:

  • Service providers who work on our behalf — for example payment processors, hosting, email/CRM, scheduling, and analytics — and only as needed to perform their work for us.
  • Advertising platforms. When you interact with our Site or ads, limited data is shared with platforms such as Meta (Facebook and Instagram) through their pixel and Conversions API so we can measure ad performance and reach relevant audiences. We do not share medical or treatment information with advertising platforms. Data shared with Meta is handled under Meta’s own terms and policies.
  • Care providers. Treatment information is shared only with the providers and staff involved in your care, and as otherwise permitted or required by law.
  • Legal and safety reasons — to comply with the law, enforce our terms, or protect the rights, property, or safety of our customers, the public, or us.
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

6Your choices and rights

  • Marketing opt-out: unsubscribe from emails using the link in any message, or reply STOP to text messages.
  • Ad personalization: adjust your preferences using the links in Section 3.
  • Access and deletion: you may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing ora@bocabeautysalonmd.com. We will respond as required by applicable law.

7Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, to comply with our legal, medical-recordkeeping, and tax obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

8Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9Children’s privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10Third-party links

The Site may link to third-party websites or services we do not control. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this one.

11Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective date” above and post the updated version on this page.
